CITY MISSIONS IS connecting the housing challenged with the support necessary to become self-sufficient and find a permanent home.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) counted around 582,000 Americans experiencing homelessness in 2022.

We are committed to seeing those numbers decrease through our street ministry, mobile unit, and future outreach center, while treating our housing challenged friends with dignity as they receive personalized resources.

WHAT WE DO:

GIVING HOPE THROUGH SOCKS

Serve with City Missions weekly or monthly through our Street Teams or by coordinating your own Rock the Socks event.

Donate, pack, or distribute bags with new socks and travel-sized hygiene items for people who are unhoused in Collin County.

CITY MISSIONS IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO HELPING THE HOUSING-CHALLENGED AND INSPIRING COMMUNITIES TO BECOME INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS.

Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs focused on housing-first, client-centered, basic needs, employment, life management, recovery from substance abuse, and education in a Christ-centered environment.

Community is everything. Our volunteers raise their hands and roll up their sleeves to make a difference and help those in our community who are most vulnerable and in need of care, compassion and support.

By 2024, City Missions will help resource 100’s of our housing challenged friends in finding housing.

  • Join our street teams, where we meet with and distribute donated socks and hygiene kits. Click the RSVP button on a serve event in the calendar above to partner by serving.

  • You can donate new socks, travel hygiene supplies, or individually packaged food (that doesn’t require heating or a can opener to eat), or you can partner with us financially by donating money to the mission. Contact info@citymissions.org to donate funds.

  • You can be an RTS Ambassador by coordinating an event with your group! We have resources ready made for you to fundraise or get donations, and all the step-by-step instructions for you to run the event. Contact info@citymissions.org if you would like to coordinate your own Rock the Socks event!
